Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, Southern Virginia Tallow LLC may receive:

• Name, email address, phone number, message, and marketing preference from contact, signup, or checkout forms
• Products, quantities, scent choices, discount code, and fulfillment selection from the cart
• Shipping, delivery, or pickup-estimate address information
• Order, payment status, and receipt details supplied by Square
• Basic request and security information supplied by our hosting provider

We do not receive or store your complete payment card number.

How information is used

• Answer questions and provide customer support
• Prepare, fulfill, and document orders
• Put together a requested cart and email you a personal link to review it
• Calculate pickup, local delivery, and shipping options
• Send receipts, order updates, and requested marketing messages
• Prevent abuse, investigate errors, and maintain website security
• Meet tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping obligations

Service providers

We use Cloudflare for hosting and database services, Square for checkout and payments, Resend for email, Google for address suggestions and driving estimates, and UPS for shipping rates and shipment services. Each provider processes information needed to perform its service under its own privacy terms.

Cart storage and email choices

The site uses browser storage to remember cart, discount, and fulfillment selections on your device. Marketing email is optional. Marketing messages will include a way to unsubscribe, and you may also ask us to remove your email from the list.

If we prepare a cart for you, we store its selections and the contact and fulfillment details you provide. Its personal link expires after 30 days and can be disabled on request. Anyone you share that link with can view those details, so please keep it private. Opening the link does not place or pay for an order.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand website visits and completed purchases. Measurements can include pages visited, browser and device information, a browser identifier, product IDs, quantities, purchase amounts, and an order identifier used to avoid counting the same purchase twice. We do not include your name, email, phone number, street address, or discount code in these analytics events.

Analytics is off unless you allow it. Your choice does not affect shopping or checkout. Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your preference. We respect your browser's Global Privacy Control by keeping optional analytics off. We do not enable personalized advertising or Google signals through this integration. Google describes how it uses information from sites that use its services and provides further details in its privacy policy.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to run the shop, complete orders, communicate with customers, protect the business, or comply with law. Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.

Your choices

You may ask to review, correct, or delete information we control, subject to records we must retain for completed orders, taxes, fraud prevention, or other legal obligations. This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
