Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, Southern Virginia Tallow LLC may receive:

• Name, email address, message, and marketing preference from contact or signup forms
• Products, quantities, scent choices, discount code, and fulfillment selection from the cart
• Shipping, delivery, or pickup-estimate address information
• Order, payment status, and receipt details supplied by Square
• Basic request and security information supplied by our hosting provider

We do not receive or store your complete payment card number.

How information is used

• Answer questions and provide customer support
• Prepare, fulfill, and document orders
• Calculate pickup, local delivery, and shipping options
• Send receipts, order updates, and requested marketing messages
• Prevent abuse, investigate errors, and maintain website security
• Meet tax, accounting, and legal recordkeeping obligations

Service providers

We use Cloudflare for hosting and database services, Square for checkout and payments, Resend for email, Google for address suggestions and driving estimates, and UPS for shipping rates and shipment services. Each provider processes information needed to perform its service under its own privacy terms.

Cart storage and email choices

The site uses browser storage to remember cart, discount, and fulfillment selections on your device. Marketing email is optional. Marketing messages will include a way to unsubscribe, and you may also ask us to remove your email from the list.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to run the shop, complete orders, communicate with customers, protect the business, or comply with law. Records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes.

Your choices

You may ask to review, correct, or delete information we control, subject to records we must retain for completed orders, taxes, fraud prevention, or other legal obligations. This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
